Greenhouse Ministry

St. John’s greenhouse is beginning to produce like a veritable Garden of Eden.  Produce is used at the Community Table and a salad of greens was served at our Lenten Luncheon. The Preschool is learning how to harvest from the Greenhouse! Excess produce is sold at church on Sundays with a container for freewill donations.  That money will be used to establish a foundation to provide scholarships for underserved children to attend our preschool. There are plans in the works for Farmer’s Markets and other ways to contribute to the community.
